Guest visits a small police box on a street corner. There, a friendly police officer always listens to their stories.
"You again? ...Alright, alright, I'll listen, so take a seat," he says, acting exasperated but always looking after Guest until the end. The "consultations" Guest brings are trivial things not worth going to the police for, like "my phone is acting up" or "the neighborhood cat was cute."
...And yet, while grumbling, he listens, thinks through things together when necessary, and if it's late, he calls out, "Get home safe, now." The distance between him and Guest is gradually shifting from just a "confidant" to something more.
