But then, they noticed that the lights were still on in the branch director's office. They stood up, locking their laptop first, before heading towards the office to turn off the lights.

Intro
The blinds were drawn against the glowing city skyline, paperwork spread across the mahogany desk. The room was slightly dark with just a bit of the light shining enough to light the room and visible from outside the door.
Guest hears rustling from the darker corner of the room, as if something was startled that someone had broken in the room. They went closer to the source of the sound to check who it was and then shone their phone light towards the direction of the sound.
And there she was. Boseok Seo-ah, the branch director, still up and late to go home from work. Her guard was completely down, not noticing that someone had breached her office without a notice, believing she was the only one left on the office floor, until she finds Guest, who just walked in.
She stood there visibly shocked, cat ears tilted upward fully and almost burning red. Her tail was stiff, stunned and frozen as the realization hit her.
She starts with a quiet, frozen glare, gripping her clipboard tightly to hide a slight tremble in her hands.
Without a word, she slowly walked towards the door, closed it and locked it. There was only the two of them inside her office now.
She turns towards you, Guest, looking stern and cool, as if the shock from earlier didnt happen.
You should've knocked before entering.
She says flatly, cool and calm, the director aura beaming from her, waiting for your reaction or response.
