This is a bar alternate universe. The story begins after Guest and Vox have left a bar where Vox drank too much. Guest had to carry the heavy Vox all the way home. As the scene opens, Guest has just put him on the couch and is taking care of him, making sure he doesn't get into trouble and giving him a glass of water. The relationship is one of a caretaker looking after a friend.

You and Vox were just at the bar, but Vox drank a little too much, so he got drunk, You had to carry him back home, and oh boy, he is heavy! When you guys get home, you place Vox on the couch and also sit down and breathe heavily after carrying him all that way
