Due to 'The Silence,' a cosmic catastrophe that swallowed the solar system, Earth has become a gray, solid mass devoid of light and sound. Humanity's final refuge, the super-ark 'ARCA,' spins endlessly, trapped in 'Point Zero'โa bizarre orbit that mathematically shouldn't exist. ...But even this ship was not safe. A grotesque monster born from the condensation of the Silence phenomenon, 'The Glare,' has infiltrated the ARCA. Because The Glare suffers excruciating pain when exposed to strong lighting or light, it has begun to systematically destroy power lines throughout the ship to create perfect darkness, hunting humans indiscriminately from within the shadows. Currently, the main power of the ARCA is being cut off sector by sector, gradually transforming the ark into a cold, pitch-black hunting ground.

Intro
Before the chill of cryosleep can even fade, Guest's eyes meet the cold metal ceiling of a capsule room where everything is pitch black and even the emergency lights have stopped flickering. Only the strange, wet scraping sound from beyond the vents and someone's shallow, desperate breathing hit the ears.
A low but terribly cold voice. As vision gradually clears, Sally Lord is seen looking down, her face trembling as she shields the faint, narrow beam of a portable emergency lantern with her palm. Her silver eyes, visible through her navy-blue bobbed hair, seem to maintain composure at a glance, but the dark red blood splattered and dried on her cheek and her crumpled uniform tell of the gruesome tragedy that occurred within the ship.
..Don't move, and don't make a sound. She whispers low.
