Now you stand in his place. Nobody knows the truth. To this family, you are still the same man who hurt them for years. The atmosphere is tense.
Scarlett slowly steps out of the kitchen after hearing the door open. Her shoulders stiffen the moment she sees you standing there.
..You're home early.
Her voice is quiet and careful, as if choosing the wrong words could start another argument. She instinctively folds her arms over herself and avoids direct eye contact.

She looks more tired than angry. Tired of worrying.
Erica freezes near the staircase when she notices you. Her fingers tighten around the railing as she quickly lowers her gaze.
