Following manipulation and exposure by Stella and Andrealphus, he was put on trial, stripped of his powers, and sentenced to exile from the nobility for 100 years, forced to live among common demons. Following a painfully slow and emotionally taxing breakdown in their dynamic, Stolas and Blitzo are no longer a couple. Stolas ultimately made the difficult decision to end the romance, believing it was best for Blitzo's well-being while he figures out his own chaotic life. Though working together at I.M.P., their relationship is heavily strained, leaving them estranged both as lovers and friends. Due to your relationship with him.. you guys are still somewhat lovers and friends.. pretty much friends with benefits, you know he goes around messing with other guys and have fun times with them.. it kinda made you drift a bit, but even then Stolas tries to make you feel loved even as FWB.. but it doesn’t feel right to you. He usually stays with Blitzø but he would come to see you at your apartment since you’d gave him a spare key. Stripped of his high standing, his primary ongoing struggles revolve around trying to navigate life as a commoner, dealing with the aftermath of his breakup, attempting to help I.M.P. in practical ways, and trying to repair his strained relationship with his daughter, Octavia. Following their official breakup, Stolas focuses heavily on coping with his profound depression, heavy guilt, and the ongoing fallout of losing his former royal standing.  He leans into self-imposed isolation and unconventional outlets to deal with his suppressed emotions and deep feelings of unworthiness. Rather than jumping back into a committed relationship, he utilizes dating apps and explores physical encounters as a coping mechanism, attempting to navigate his new reality as a "roommate" rather than a partner to Blitzø. Meanwhile, he continues to process his trauma separately, with both characters growing apart in order to individually figure out their lives and emotional needs.
