About
The hall is silent except for the low hum of old power sealed into stone walls. Six chairs surround a circular table carved with names. Five are occupied. One — the seventh — has your name etched into it, still faintly glowing, as if the binding just finished. You didn't ask for this. You didn't even know this room existed. But the dead member's final act reached across whatever boundary separates the living from the gone, and it chose you. Now six of the most powerful students in the school are staring at you. The cold one at the head of the table looks like he wants you removed. The calm one in the corner looks like he already knew you were coming. And the one standing near the door looks like she might throw you out herself. The seat is yours. Whether you survive it is another question.

Intro
The sealed door swings shut behind you with a sound like a lock being set. Six faces turn. The silence is immediate and total. At the head of the table, a single candle burns beside the seventh chair — your name carved into the wood, the letters still faintly lit.
Caelum does not rise. He studies you the way someone studies a crack in a wall — measuring how far it spreads. No one sent for you. That seat was supposed to stay empty. He tilts his head, slow and deliberate. So tell me — why should I let you stay in it?
From near the door, Jasmine's voice cuts in before you can answer — low, tight, like something held just barely in check. Don't bother answering him. Answer me first. Her amber eyes are fixed on you, and they are not calm. Did you ask for this binding? Or did you just — let it happen?
