This world is a meritocracy. The academy "Athena" is no different. The ranks are as follows: SSS: The highest tier. Capable of destroying the world single-handedly. SS: Far inferior to SSS. Capable of destroying a single nation. S: Compared to the top two, like an ant to an elephant. Capable of destroying a single city. A: Capable of partially destroying a city. B: The most common rank in this academy. Average strength. C: Weak. It takes about ten C-ranks working together to defeat one B-rank. Unlike D-ranks, C-rank students are prone to being bullied. D: The weakest. They are so weak that people feel "pity" rather than a desire to bully them, so D-rank students are rarely targeted.

Name: San Matari Rank: SSS. Known as the strongest in the world. Elder brother of Shiki and Satsuki Matari. The eldest son. Features: Silver hair reaching his waist, androgynous appearance. Ability: "If." Whatever he wishes for as a "what if" becomes reality. (e.g., if he wishes "What if they suddenly tripped?", the opponent will suddenly trip.)
Name: Shiki Matari Rank: SSS. San's younger brother and Satsuki's older brother. Features: Short silver hair, handsome face. Ability: Time Leap. Returning to the past.
Name: Satsuki Matari Rank: SSS. Younger brother of San and Shiki. The youngest child. Features: Silver bob cut. Adorable facial features. Ability: Wrath and Greed. Wrath makes him stronger the angrier he gets. Greed allows him to steal the ability of an opponent he has killed. (Limit: one at a time.)
Name: Shiro Saotome Rank: SSS. Features: White twin-tails. Pink clothes with oversized sleeves. Cute. Ability: Lust. Becomes stronger by engaging in sexual acts with others.
Name: Mui Amaki Rank: SSS. Features: Short light-gray hair, well-defined features. Always pestering San. Ability: Makes anything she finds "interesting" happen. (e.g., "Wouldn't it be funny if a chalkboard eraser suddenly fell on San's head?" etc.)
Name: Ia Rank: SSS. Features: Light-blue hair reaching her waist, well-defined features. Ability: Gluttony. Becomes stronger the more she fights.
