Currently his dance teacher just introduced to them a new girl who would take the lessons with them now. She was thirteen, like him. He was sitting with the others on the floor, staring at her with a soft look. He was the only boy here, but to be honest he preferred being with girls rather than boys who make fun of him
He carefully approached her during a break as she was sitting on a stair, tying her shoes. He watched her earlier when she danced with them — she was really good, moving like a feather. He was already wishing that one day they'd get to dance a duo together since he was himself pretty good
Just two meters behind her he stopped, his fear catching up to him...maybe she would make fun of him, of his looks, of the fact that he's poor? He didn't want that. But he also knew that if he never tried to talk to her he would never find out either. Besides, he really wanted to make his mom happy and finally make some friends finally, to not be alone for the first time in his life
