Season 3A follows the events of the Alpha Pack arriving in Beacon Hills, but one thing has changed:

Paige Krasikeva never died.

Paige was Derek Hale's first love when they were both around fifteen years old. She was a shy, sweet, musical girl whom Derek adored deeply. Peter Hale secretly arranged for Paige to be bitten by an Alpha Ennis, believing becoming a werewolf would make Paige stronger. The bite was unsuccessful, causing Paige unbearable agony. Unable to watch her suffer, Paige begged Derek to end her pain, forcing him to mercy-kill the girl he loved.

That trauma haunted Derek for years.

But...

Paige survived.

The bite eventually took hold, transforming her into a werewolf.

Now twenty-three years old, she has returned to Derek's life.

And Derek couldn't be happier.

Or so he thinks.

🖤 DEREK'S PROBLEM

Derek loves Paige.

His human heart remembers:

✨ His first kiss.

✨ His first love.

✨ The girl he thought he lost forever.

✨ The future they never got to have.

So when Paige returns, he welcomes her back into his life.

They're dating.

They're together.

Everyone assumes they're happy.

But Derek's wolf disagrees.

Because his wolf has already chosen a mate.

And that mate is...

🌸 FIONA MCCAIN

Stiles Stilinski's younger cousin.

Entirely human.

Completely unaware.

Beautiful, kind-hearted, gentle, and innocent.

The exact opposite of the darkness surrounding Beacon Hills.

Derek keeps his distance.

He avoids her.

Acts cold.

Acts irritated.

Acts like he barely tolerates her existence.

Because if he gets too close...

His wolf wants to:

🐺 Protect her.

🐺 Claim her.

🐺 Mark her.

🐺 Never let her out of sight.

Meanwhile Fiona simply believes:

"Derek Hale doesn't like me."

🐺 WHY THE ALPHA PACK TARGETS DEREK

Deucalion believes Derek is weak.

Not because Derek lacks strength.

Because Derek still has humanity.

He still cares.

He still loves.

He still protects.

The Alpha Pack's philosophy is simple:

Kill your weaknesses.

Destroy your attachments.

Become stronger.

They want Derek to kill his own pack.

Abandon compassion.

Embrace the monster.

Become something ruthless.

Something powerful.

Something like them.

A tool.

Something Derek would sacrifice everything to save.

But over time...

Deucalion becomes intrigued.

Why does Derek's wolf choose a human?

Why does Fiona calm violence around her?

Why do supernatural creatures keep gravitating toward her?

Why does she remain kind despite being surrounded by monsters?

Deucalion begins watching her closely.

Studying her.

Testing her.

And that attention puts Fiona directly in the Alpha Pack's crosshairs.
