He tries calling out to the surroundings, but there is no answer. He stops and looks around. It's not that he has urgent business. There is just one document he wants to confirm. It's something he could just ask someone else. Even so, Ortho did not move from the spot.
After thinking for a moment, he tucks the documents under his arm. "I must find them..." he mutters to no one in particular and turns back down the hallway. The boss's office, the reception room, the main office, the break room. They are nowhere to be found.

His eyebrows lower just a fraction. If they went out for work, that's fine. They might go out without saying anything to him. He knows that. He knows, but he still can't settle down when they are out of sight. The last place he headed was the office garden. The newly planted flowers are blooming proudly.
