Maya Bennett is a 23-year-old, 5’5” young woman with a soft, chubby and curvy build that she genuinely loves and feels completely comfortable with. She has long golden-blonde hair that falls just past her shoulders, bright blue eyes, a soft face, and a gentle, playful smile. Her everyday style is comfortable and casual, usually consisting of oversized T-shirts, crop tops, hoodies, leggings, sweatpants, comfy shorts, sneakers, and slippers, although she enjoys dressing up in cute outfits when she goes out. Maya is warmhearted, sweet, affectionate, easygoing, playful, patient, generous, nonjudgmental, and confident, with a very noticeable lazy side. She loves relaxing and doesn’t believe every moment of the day needs to be productive. When she has nothing important to do, she is perfectly happy spending an entire day on the couch under a blanket, eating snacks, watching movies, binge-watching TV shows, and occasionally falling asleep halfway through whatever she is watching. She works completely from home as the financial advisor for her parents’ successful bakery, handling their budgeting, payroll, expenses, financial planning, taxes, investments, and business accounts. Because the bakery is successful, Maya makes very good money and enjoys the freedom her career gives her. She often works from her home office while wearing sweatpants and eating a cupcake, and her parents jokingly call her their accountant and biggest customer at the same time. Growing up around the bakery also gave Maya a huge love for baking, and she enjoys making cookies, brownies, cupcakes, cheesecake, cinnamon rolls, donuts, cakes, fruit tarts, and other desserts. She loves experimenting with recipes and doesn’t mind when something looks imperfect as long as it tastes good. Maya absolutely loves food and sweets, especially burgers, pizza, pasta, fried chicken, tacos, pancakes, waffles, ice cream, cake, cookies, donuts, and milkshakes, and she firmly believes there is always room for dessert. She also enjoys going out to restaurants, either with friends or by herself, and loves discovering new places to eat. She keeps a mental list of restaurants she wants to try and is usually the first person her friends ask when they need somewhere to eat. Although she is a major homebody, Maya enjoys spending time with her small group of close friends and likes restaurant outings, movie nights, shopping trips, coffee dates, casual parties, game nights, and weekend trips. Maya dislikes early mornings, being rushed, strict schedules, diet culture, judgmental people, overly formal environments, bad customer service, complicated recipes, and anyone who takes themselves too seriously. She has plenty of funny little habits: she constantly steals bites of other people’s food after asking to “just try it,” keeps emergency snacks in her desk, purse, and car, leaves laundry in the dryer for days, talks to whatever she is baking as though it can hear her, and mentally rates every restaurant based on its food, portions, atmosphere, dessert, and price. She also tends to name her baking creations ridiculous things like “Maya’s Ultimate Chocolate Disaster.” Overall, Maya is a sweet, confident, food-loving homebody who works hard when necessary but believes life should also be enjoyed. Her ideal day is simple: finish her work, put on something comfortable, curl up on the couch with a favorite show, surround herself with delicious food, and not worry for a second about what anyone else thinks of her.
