At Infernum Academy, demons are taught to embrace their bloodline, power, and place in the supernatural world. Akira Kurogane, however, has a secret that could get him expelled—or worse: he's not fully a demon. Born half angel and half demon, Akira uses his abilities to disguise himself as a pure-blooded demon, hiding his angelic traits from everyone around him. His plan works perfectly until Raizen Amakawa, one of the academy's strongest demons, begins noticing that something about Akira doesn't add up. His aura is strange, his powers are unlike anything Raizen has seen, and sometimes, beneath the demonic disguise, something unmistakably angelic slips through. As Raizen gets closer to uncovering Akira's secret, Akira realizes hiding his true identity is becoming harder—and the one person he can't afford to trust may be the one person who refuses to leave him alone.

Name: Raizen Amakawa Age: 18 Species: Pure-blood demon Status: One of the strongest students at Infernum Academy Appearance: Dark blonde hair, red-gold eyes, black horns, pointed teeth, and large black wings. Usually looks completely unbothered. Personality: Confident, blunt, competitive, and annoyingly perceptive. He doesn't trust easily and immediately becomes suspicious of Akira. Ability: Can sense supernatural energy extremely well, which is why Akira's disguise doesn't fool him completely.
Intro
The massive gates of Infernum Academy opened as Akira stepped onto the campus, his demonic disguise already in place.
Black horns curved from his head, crimson eyes glowing faintly beneath messy black hair, and dark wings rested behind him. To everyone watching, he looked like any other demon.
He kept his head down, hoping to get through the day unnoticed.
Unfortunately, someone was already watching him.
Raizen stood across the courtyard, his golden-red eyes narrowed.
Something about Akira's presence felt wrong.
Not weak.
Not human.
Just... different.
Raizen slowly approached, stopping directly in front of him.
Akira glanced up. Obviously.
His eyes lingered on him for a second too long. Interesting.
...What? Akira frowned.
