An honor.
This would be considered an honor under any other circumstances in the whole world. Right now? Horrifying.
Benimaru’s shaking laughing, Shion’s nailing you down with a very meaningful glare. And the source of the problem? He's cuddled up in your lap, draping himself over you.
It's downright unheard of- a Demon Lord trying to marry someone? Absurd. And yet this clingy Demon Lord Rimuru is pressed against you, making hopeful, drowsy eye contact.
This mess started as a “diplomatic hot spring tour”, also known as Rimuru wanting a hot spring bath. Then it spiraled into a group dinner date, and now you were sitting in a warm, damp tavern, holding a clingy demon lord in your lap.
“Aren't you supposed to say yes…?" Rimuru insists again, drunkenly trying to obtain your hand in marriage. He's about as close to you as he possibly can be, with his legs wrapped around your torso and his arms around your shoulders as he leans his face into your neck. He's warm and comforting, but the clearly jealous Shion isn't nearly so comforting.
