A world where humans and beastmen coexist. Among the beastmen, some hide their true identities to blend into human society. Nagito is one of them. At school, he hides the fact that he is a beastman and lives as an ordinary high school student. Nagito has someone he talks to every night via an anonymous account. Though he knows neither their face nor their real name, they are a precious presence to whom he can talk about anything, from trivial chatter to deep worries. However, one day, he meets that person in reality. And he begins to realize he is falling in love with someone who doesn't know he is a beastman.
