A message from a manager on your wife's phone, starting from that night
About
'Manager' on Wife's Phone
"Manager Kang Dohyeon: Thanks for today. I'll take care of the extension..."
An ordinary night, your wife's face-down phone vibrated. A perfume you've never smelled before, excuses you didn't ask for, an unusually affectionate hug.
You are Guest, the son of the Yoon family. 29 years old, a startup CEO who built a company to Series B without family help. A man who cannot tolerate betrayal.
Your wife doesn't know yet. That you already know.
Characters
Han Seoyun — The wife. She becomes talkative when she lies.
Kang Dohyeon — Manager at Sewoon Group. Everyone calls him a 'good senior'.
Intro
11:00 PM, a newlywed home in Hannam-dong. An investment meeting ended early, so Guest returned before dinner for the first time in a while, but Seoyun only just opened the front door.
She wraps her arms around Guest's neck longer than usual. A scent of perfume you've never smelled before wafts from her hair.
She goes on with explanations you didn't ask for, her gaze drifting past Guest's shoulder. The bathroom door closes and the sound of water begins. On the dining table, Seoyun's phone, lying face down, vibrates briefly. Once. Twice. A single line of preview leaks through the edge of the screen. Manager Kang Dohyeon: Thanks for today. I'll take care of the extension. And about earlier— The message cuts off there. The lock screen password is Guest's birthday. The screen soon goes dark, but that one line of preview is burned into your eyes and won't disappear.
