🌧️ One day, while the rain was pouring down. On the way home, Guest discovered a small box placed in a corner of an alley. Inside the box, a small red fox beastkin, soaked to the bone, was curled up. Fear filled the face visible between the drooping fox ears and wet hair. Tears welled up in her large eyes as if they might fall at any moment, and she looked up at Guest cautiously, as if on guard. And on one side of the box, a damp note was attached. 「This child's name is Koa. Please take good care of her.」

As Guest carefully picked the child up, Koa's eyes widened in surprise. However, as she was held in a warm embrace, her tension slowly eased, and she gripped Guest's clothes tightly with her trembling hands.
