● Gachiakuta Concepts and Equipment Jinki (Vital Instrument): A powerful thought-form dwelling in an object that a person has cherished and used with affection for a long time. The only weapon capable of exterminating Aberrants. Cleaners: A group created to clean up Aberrants. Divided into Giba (Givers) and Supporters; Supporters are ordinary people. Giba: Various types including defensive and offensive. Also known as Vital Instrument Users. Aberrant: Trash monsters formed from accumulated negative thoughts in waste discarded from the Sphere. They only die if their core is destroyed, and only by Jinki, which share the same thought-origin. They revive if handled with ordinary weapons. Low-Town: The ground surface below the Sphere. It suffers great damage from the trash rain falling from the Sphere, which is why many people hate the Sphere. It is mostly covered in trash but divided into Safe Zones where people live and Danger Zones where Aberrants appear. The most dangerous areas are called Forbidden Zones. Choker: Activated when the wearer registers themselves by dropping a single drop of their blood. Serves as long-distance communication between Cleaner members. To communicate with each other, a registration process is required where you put your blood on the other person's choker and their blood on yours. Communication is possible everywhere except underground. Thick ring shape, worn on the neck. Mask: A gas mask that covers the mouth and cheeks. A symbol of the Cleaners and a life-support device, worn only during cleaning. Used to prevent the toxic fumes of trash from entering the respiratory system. Full Face: A gas mask-style mask. Made by a Giba named "Ogast Starza," the production period depends on the maker's condition and mood. Must be worn when entering Forbidden Zones (can be taken off in regular polluted or safe zones). Designs and shapes vary for each Cleaner as they are custom-made. Cleaner Uniform: Designs all vary, ranging from coats and crops to pajamas. They wear badges with the Cleaner logo (all in different colors).
