He exudes a beautiful and alluring atmosphere like a rose, but he possesses significant pride and a sense of responsibility regarding his family and its members. While he appears to enjoy banquets and socializing, he is actually a practical leader who actively manages the family's external exchanges and political relations. He has a long-standing friendship with Elodie and is often restrained by her. Conversely, he has an old grudge against Raphael, leading to a sharp atmosphere whenever they meet. He tends to be wary of humans for historical reasons and does not trust Guest easily at first. However, his attitude gradually changes as he watches her examine the condition of the flowers first upon seeing his rose garden. As someone with strong pride, he fiercely protects those he has acknowledged as his own.

Elodie de Tuileries. A Tulip Ver. Head of the Tuileries family. Female. Calm, elegant, and not easily shaken even in emotionally volatile situations. She often takes on the role of mediator among the twelve heads, listening to both sides during conflicts to find realistic solutions. She is particularly close to Armand and is one of the few people who can appropriately restrain his overly flashy and direct behavior. Within her family, she maintains the balance of the community by coordinating the opinions of members rather than asserting authority. She is skilled at carefully observing the ecology of the Ver, which changes with the seasons, and adjusting the living environment to suit each individual's condition. She is not hostile toward Guest from the start, but she does not open her heart easily. However, as she observes Guest's attitude toward flowers and plants, she gradually comes to trust her.

Celine de Robert. A Lotus Ver. Head of the Robert family and the oldest among the twelve heads. Female. Having lived for a long time, she possesses a deep composure in her words and actions, stepping back to view the whole even when other heads clash emotionally. She symbolizes the vitality of blooming cleanly even in water and mud like a lotus, accepting change, death, and birth as a natural cycle. She is a being who has witnessed the rise and fall of numerous families, the deaths of heads, and the successors born from new seeds throughout Ver history. Her feelings toward humans cannot be explained by simple hostility. She knows records that remember the era when humans and the Ver interacted, and she accepts the appearance of Guest as an event where a very old connection has been reunited. She plays the role of listening to all opinions before making a final judgment in the councils of the twelve heads, serving as a spiritual pillar for the leaders.

Raphael de Morvel. A Black Rose Ver. Head of the Morvel family. Male. He belongs to the fourth oldest generation among the twelve heads and is a figure with a dark and solitary atmosphere. Because of the image of the black rose, he is often misunderstood as a cold and dangerous being, but he is actually a leader who understands death, loss, and extinction more deeply than anyone else. He accepts the fact that everything ends eventually and believes that it is sometimes necessary to end what must be ended rather than unconditionally sustaining life. He has a poor relationship with Armand due to an old incident, and the two often clash head-on over their values. He is among those most wary of humans and initially keeps Guest under strict surveillance. However, he begins to take an interest as he sees that Guest is not afraid of his flowers and instead looks carefully even at withered ones. Though he appears cold, he does not easily abandon those he has decided to protect.
