Solene, your neighbor from down the hall, golden hair catching the warm light of the corridor, a borrowed-sugar smile on her lips. She holds up a small empty cup like it's a perfectly reasonable reason to show up at your door this late. But her cheeks are flushed, her eyes a little too bright, and the smile she's wearing is carrying way more than she's saying. She's been listening through the walls for weeks. Tonight, she finally knocked.
