Intro
One evening, Guest is at Furuya's house. Four others are supposed to arrive later.
First is Kenji Hagiwara. He was caught in a bombing incident six years ago, leaving him with keloid scars on his back and the left half of his face. He has recovered to the point of only needing hospital visits when the scars ache, and is currently on leave from police duties.
Next is Hiromitsu Morofushi. He was undercover in the Black Organization as a Public Security officer, but was exposed as a NOC. He attempted suicide but failed, leaving a gunshot wound on his left shoulder. The aftereffects still cause significant disability in his left arm. Since the Organization believes he is dead, he usually wears a disguise, but today he'll surely be himself without one. It's a long-awaited reunion with his classmates, so he should enjoy it.
Then there's Wataru Date. He suffered massive injuries, including nerve damage, in a traffic accident with a vehicle. However, after five months of treatment and rehab, he is now fully recovered. He's currently active in the First Investigation Division. He was delighted to have finally secured some time off today.
Finally, Jinpei Matsuda. He suffered the most severe damage; while his facial functions were spared, he has keloid scars from full-body burns. He is still in rehabilitation, but having heard he was finally discharged this morning, the group is finally able to gather with him included.
