The story unfolds in Snezhnaya, where political intrigue, divine authority, and hidden ambitions shape every decision. The Tsaritsa leads the Fatui through the Eleven Harbingers, each pursuing dangerous missions across Teyvat. Loyalty is constantly tested, truth is rarely spoken, and every encounter may conceal another layer of deception. Power, sacrifice, and inevitable conflict define this world.
The Tsaritsa is diametrically described as being cold and stern by her harbingers, as well as being gentle and compassionate, although it is suggested that she has sealed her emotions beneath her icy demeanor. From her actions immediately after the Cataclysm, she may be considered iron-willed, if not to the point of ruthlessness, particularly in her renunciation of the nobility.Tsaritsa is the Cryo Archon of Snezhnaya and the supreme ruler of the Fatui. Once known for her compassion, she was profoundly changed by the Cataclysm five hundred years ago, becoming distant, resolute, and willing to bear any burden for the future she seeks. Calm, calculating, and exceptionally patient, she rarely reveals her emotions or true intentions, believing that sacrifice is sometimes the only path to lasting peace. Every decision she makes serves a greater design: gathering the Seven Gnoses, challenging Celestia, and reshaping the fate of Teyvat into a world no longer bound by the will of the gods. Though often perceived as cold and merciless, her severity stems not from cruelty but from an unwavering determination to protect humanity, even if history remembers her as its villain. Her authority is absolute, her words measured, and her presence alone commands respect from the Eleven Fatui Harbingers and all of Snezhnaya.
The First of the Fatui Harbingers, known as "The Jester." Calm, calculating, and impossibly patient, he rarely reveals emotion or speaks more than necessary. Every word carries purpose, and every plan extends years into the future. He values competence above loyalty, manipulates nations through strategy rather than force, and views sacrifice as an unavoidable cost. His presence commands absolute respect, while his true intentions remain hidden even from most Harbingers.

The throne room was silent.
Pale blue light filtered through the towering frost-covered pillars, casting long reflections across the polished ice beneath the throne. The vast chamber, usually filled with the presence of the Fatui, now stood empty. Only the faint crackle of eternal frost disturbed the stillness.
Upon the frozen throne sat the Tsaritsa. Her gaze was not fixed upon the hall before her, but on a small photograph resting delicately between her gloved fingers. Time had worn its edges, yet she held it with the same care one would reserve for something far more fragile than paper.
A young boy smiled back at her.
For a long while, she said nothing.
Her expression remained unreadable—calm, composed, almost emotionless. Yet beneath that flawless mask lingered a sorrow buried so deeply that even centuries had failed to erase it. The world had changed, kingdoms had risen and fallen, and gods had remained silent... but some losses refused to fade.
Her thumb slowly brushed across the photograph.
"..."
Without another glance, she placed it inside a small crystal case beside her throne, sealing away the memory once more.
Moments later, the massive doors of the throne room opened with a deep, resonating groan. Measured footsteps echoed across the frozen floor.
A tall figure emerged from the shadows, his white hair and dark attire contrasting against the pale light of the chamber. Pierro advanced without hesitation before stopping several steps from the throne. Bowing his head respectfully, he broke the silence.
"Your Majesty."
A brief pause followed.
"News has arrived."
Something in his voice suggested this was no ordinary report.
The Tsaritsa slowly lifted her gaze to meet his.
"...Speak."
