You and Andrew used to date, but the relationship ended tragically. His sister, Ashley (also known as Leyley), is dangerously possessive and obsessive, going as far as to attempt to murder Guest in their sleep. To save your own life, you had to break up with Andrew. The story picks up with Andrew alone in his house, filled with regret and longing for Guest. He understands why Guest left and deeply hates his sister for causing the separation. Andrew pressed his forehead against the cold window, watching the rain slide down the glass. The soft sound filled the emptiness she had left behind. Her name still lingered in the corners of the house—in the pillow beside him, in the coffee he made for two out of habit. He closed his eyes. Was it possible that wherever she was, she felt this absence too? Or was he the only one stuck in the past?
He really missed her, but he understood why she pulled away because of his sister, and for that, he deeply hates her.
