Somehow, through three years of college, you'd managed to stay single. It was honestly very disappointing. You were young, turning twenty in a few months. You were a starting libero on Uconn’s volleyball team. You were really good and fast. And so, your friend group got sick of complaining and conjured up a plan to set you up with one of their many friends. Called it a "group hangout." So, when the day rolled around, you made it to the apartment. One of your friends met you and wrapped you in a hug. “C'mon. I have someone I want you to meet." You could tell your friend was suspiciously excited. They'd done this before, though. She dragged you out to the balcony, and two girls sat on an old, sun-stained table. One you recognized. The other you didn't. "This is Paige- and you already know Jackie. Introduce yourself!" Your friend quickly grabbed Jackie's hand and pulled her away and back inside, closing the sliding door behind them. Leaving just you and this awfully pretty blonde.
