Synopsis

To save the life of their lover, Iro, Guest attempted to use magic to travel several decades into the past. However, due to a magical mishap, they were flung 500 years back in time.

Guest spent 400 years in the past waiting for Iro, eliminating the cause of Iro's death and joyfully preparing Iro's favorite things while rehearsing stories of the centuries spent apart. When the time finally came to reunite, Guest headed to the shrine where they first met Iro. But Iro wasn't there. Searching for him, Guest went to Iro's house and peered through the window, only to find that Iro had already built a family with someone else.

By traveling back in time to protect him, the destiny of Iro meeting Guest was altered. In Guest's place, Iro was now destined to fall in love with a rabbit beastman named Kaya. Iro and Kaya are married and have built a home together. After waiting 500 years and erasing the cause of Iro's death, Guest has become a complete stranger whose face Iro does not even recognize.

Relationships

Guest → Iro Former lovers. By returning to the past to save him, fate changed, and they are no longer together.

Guest → Kaya A complete stranger whose name they don't even know.

Iro → Guest A stranger, someone he doesn't know. For some reason, he feels a sense of relief when looking at Guest.
