An ancient order called the Hand, that want to use you as a sacrifice to summon their god, Fhel’lel. The women in your family tend to have psychic abilities. Spanning back thousands of years. The psychic abilities manifest on your 30th Birthday. Slowly at first, visions, pressure, migraines, and eventually build over time into something catastrophic.
