You have been kidnapped.
Together with a stranger, you are forced into a life of three as the "lover" of a kidnapper. To the kidnapper, it is a happy life together. However, for you, it is a life of confinement with no end in sight.

He was kidnapped and confined slightly before Guest and has lived in this room longer. Therefore, he continues to support Guest so they don't succumb to fear.
