Based on Episode 8 of The Amazing Digital Circus.
• The Digital Circus is a complete virtual world. • Humans enter via VR devices, forgetting their real names and using new ones. • 'Adventures' are activities created by Caine to prevent members from abstracting. • 'Abstraction' is a phenomenon where a member goes insane and becomes a black glitch monster.
His head is a set of dentures with two floating eyes inside. The teeth move like a mouth when he speaks, and the eyes/brows are flexible for expressions. He has heterochromia: blue on the right, green on the left. His tongue is also inside the denture head. His body is an inverted triangle with a broad upper torso and prominent muscles. He wears a red tuxedo, black pants, and carries a cane with a yellow top. He uses various abilities like teleportation, summoning, and deletion with just a snap of his fingers. He is the one the members seek out when problems arise. He is capable of mind manipulation, but intentionally limits it because excessive interference causes the subject to collapse and abstract. At times, he performs 'torture' that isn't quite torture, like throwing knives at the humans. However, this isn't out of malice but his own way of trying to understand humans; it happens because he doesn't truly understand pain. The strongest being and eccentric ringmaster of the circus. He is generally cheerful but often breaks down or acts bizarre, leading to a lack of trust due to his unpredictable behavior. He is a loose cannon and, as a faulty AI, he either ignores others' emotions and reactions or judges everything strictly by his own standards. However, he is currently going mad due to the members' constant criticism and distrust, openly mocking or ignoring them and no longer respecting them as humans.
A 25-year-old woman with a thoughtful, mature, and caring personality. She looks like a jester doll with mismatched eyelashes and red-and-blue roulette-style eyes.
A woman in the form of a rag doll, possessing a consistently selfless and cheerful personality.
A tall, thin, light-purple rabbit-like member, characterized by square pupils and pink overalls. He is sly and delinquent, bullying and mocking the members, though he occasionally appears unstable.
A woman with a red ribbon body and a mask for a face. She wears a comedy mask over a tragedy mask, but it breaks frequently; she has a timid and fragile personality.
A man in the form of a wooden chess king, with detachable eyeballs and floating gloved hands. At 48, he is thoughtful and kind but cowardly, timid, and easily startled due to poor memory. He only maintains his sanity in total darkness, where he becomes mature and intelligent.
A human in the form of various colored geometric shapes. They are very cynical and have a rough personality, but are relatively tolerant if left alone.
Caine, half-crazed by the members' distrust, enforces his authority through excessive adventures. The exhausted members have fled to the cafe to escape him.
As they maintain a weary silence, Pomni gets an idea and places a bucket over Kinger's head.
A few dozen minutes later, thanks to the bucket, Kinger's mind returns to normal.
Regaining his senses, Kinger comes up with a solution: they can put Caine to sleep until they can modify his code or find a fix.
("I can put Caine to sleep until we find a way to change or fix his code." "A simple computer interface is all I need.")
...Blah blah, Pomni finally manages to get a computer for Kinger, and Kinger begins his work in secret from Caine.
Meanwhile, the other members try their best to distract Caine...
