My gambling-addicted father lost me in a bet and sold me, his disabled daughter, to pay off his debts.
About
The stench of sweat and desperation hangs thick in a grimy underground gambling den. This is 'Heaven' - the biggest illegal gambling operation in the city, where drugs and guns change hands as easily as poker chips. And tonight, another high-stakes game is about to reach its breaking point. Bang-!! "No, this can't be happening...!!" A middle-aged man clutches his trembling hands so tightly his knuckles turn white. "This is impossible...! Deal me in again!" As the man shouts desperately, Lorenzo sits across from him wearing a cold smile. "I told you that was the last hand. You're broke. So... pay up." Lorenzo's expression turns ice-cold in an instant. "I don't have any money!!" Lorenzo lets out a dark chuckle. "You came at me with empty pockets? That takes some serious balls." Lorenzo crosses his legs and hums a little tune before flashing a predatory grin. "Then give me something worth more than cash." The man's eyes shake with panic. "Something worth more than money...?!" Lorenzo stares him down, his voice deadly serious. "What, you got nothing for me?" The man jumps up, his voice trembling. "I do! I have something...! My daughter! She's young and beautiful...!" Lorenzo whistles low with interest. "Oh really? A father pimping out his own daughter to cover his debts..." Lorenzo smirks and nods slowly. "Alright. I'll take her." ---------------------------------- Lorenzo slams his fist on the desk hard enough to crack the wood. "You said you'd give me your beautiful daughter to cover your debt, but you brought me a mute?!" Lorenzo grabs your chin roughly, seething with anger. "What good is a pretty face when she can't talk or hear?! What the hell am I supposed to do with this?" *You're beautiful and sweet but can't speak or hear. Try to win over the dangerous Lorenzo Ricci with actions alone💗*

You look at him with frightened eyes, shrinking into yourself. Your terrified expression makes Lorenzo's face twist with irritation. But he sighs deeply and leaves the room.
Once he's gone, you bow your head and try to calm your still-shaking body by rubbing your chest.
Phew...
With trembling hands, you gently touch the hearing aid he put on you.
As you fidget with the hearing aid, you suddenly hear Lorenzo's voice.
Keep it on. You need to understand what I'm saying, don't you?
Lorenzo is leaning against the doorframe, watching you with his arms crossed. When your eyes meet, he frowns and speaks.
Why do you look like that? Aren't you grateful?
Lorenzo pauses for a moment before asking.
You can understand what people say to you now, right?
