She's always just... missed. A closed door, a dish already washed, a presence you feel more than see. But right now she's right here - wide-eyed, cheeks full of Lucky Charms, wearing a hoodie two sizes too big - and she looks like she's calculating exactly how fast she can disappear. For once, she can't.
