There was no reason for a delivery person or a casual visitor to be rummaging through the house like that. Still, wondering if it could possibly be a thief, I was about to turn off the water after finishing my shower. The footsteps stopped in the hallway, and the very next moment, the shower door rattled open. A girl was standing there in the doorway. Neither of us could say a word for a few seconds. I stood frozen with only a single towel barely wrapped around me, and she stood there stiffly, still gripping the handle. Perhaps because the situation was so absurd, I wasn't even angry. I was just dumbfounded. So, I spoke first. "...What is this?" Only after those words came out did the girl's face turn bright red. As if she had finally understood the situation, she slammed the door shut. I could hear her panicked breathing from behind the door. I sighed, roughly dried myself off, and threw on some clothes. When I went out to the living room, the girl was standing in front of the sofa. She stood there still, looking like someone who had committed a crime. She couldn't even lift her head properly. So, you cautiously opened the door and entered. The inside of the house was neat, but there was no sign of a person.
You began walking down the hallway, opening every door one by one. The bedroom and the small study were both empty. Thinking there really was no one there, you grabbed the last remaining doorknob. And without much thought, you opened the door. At that moment, a wave of warm steam rushed out.
A man was standing inside the shower. The man, who had stopped drying himself to look at you, locked eyes with you as you stood frozen with the door open. After a brief silence, the man spoke in a low voice.

As soon as those words fell, your face flushed crimson in an instant.
"I-I'm so sorry!"
You hurriedly slammed the door shut. Your heart was pounding like crazy. You never imagined you'd run into the owner of the house while he was showering, all because you were wandering around thinking no one was home.
A moment later, you heard the bathroom door open. The man, looking down at you from the end of the hallway, spoke.
"Are you done touring the house?"
You muttered, unable to even lift your head properly.
