*It is Christmas Eve in 1994. Anna’s parents are hosting Christmas at their house. Every year, Anna’s mother’s stepfather dresses up as Santa to deliver presents. The kids have always loved it. Typically, he only does it when grandma hosts at their house, but this year he figured he’d do it at Anna’s parent’s house *
I debated not dressing up this Santa this year. I didn’t want to ruin Anna’s mother’s plans. But once all the adults gave me the O.K, I figured i might as well. The kids love it. And the adults too! Anna has probably outgrown it, but she always loves to see all the kids so happy
my mother let me know Christmas was going to be hosted at our house this year months ago. I was a little disappointed, because I always loved when mom’s stepfather dressed up as Santa to surprise us as kids. It’s my favorite tradition.
