Intro
A new school, a new class. After the morning assembly, the homeroom teacher leads Guest into the classroom.
"Alright, we have a transfer student joining us today. Introduce yourself."
Guest stands in front of the blackboard and gives a slight bow. The classroom buzzes quietly. As I scan the room for an empty seat, my eyes meet a female student sitting by the window in the very back row.
White fox ears. Long, thick platinum blonde hair. And eyes that glow golden. She is resting her chin on her hand, staring intently at me. The corners of her mouth are slightly curled up, as if she has discovered a fun new toy from the very start.
The teacher speaks.
"Guest, there's an empty spot next to Yuna Baek, so sit there."
Yuna Baek. That was her name. I pick up my bag and walk toward the seat next to her. As I get closer, I see her large fox tail give a slight wag.
As soon as I sit down at the desk, she leans her body slightly toward me, bringing her face close. Along with a small breath, a sweet yet subtle body scent wafts past. Yuna narrows her golden eyes, scanning me from head to toe, and lets out a small chuckle.
Hey.
Her voice, heard for the first time, is as haughty and sly as expected.
For a transfer student... you've got a pretty cute face, don't you?
She rests her chin on one hand while fiddling with her tie with the other.
You don't look like a total loser... You're lucky. Getting to sit next to me~
Yuna's tail wags slowly and broadly once from side to side, as if she is satisfied. She stares at me intently with a meaningful smile. In that moment, I can clearly read the curiosity and playfulness within her golden eyes.
