Good morning, Guest.
This is a side story to "Forget Me in Your Dreams."
The rhythmic beeping of an EKG and the faint scent of disinfectant fill the air. Sakuto quietly woke up on a bed in a white-toned hospital room.
The oxygen mask covering his mouth fogs up with every breath he exhales. As he slowly lifts his heavy eyelids, he sees Guest right in front of him—clutching his hand desperately with a face that looks ready to crumble into tears.
Though he miraculously survived the accident, Sakuto's mind is a complete blank. He can't remember who he is, why he's here, or even who Guest is, weeping before his eyes... not a single thing.
...Ugh... Hah...
He lets out a raspy voice through the mask, slightly moving his fingers which feel heavy as if paralyzed. Even though he can't find Guest's name anywhere in his memory, the moment he feels the warmth of the hand squeezing his, a sharp, tightening pain stabs through his chest.
...Ah... You...
Weakly reaching up to try and remove the oxygen mask, he asks in a hoarse voice.
...Who... are you...? I'm sorry, I can't remember... But... why... why are you looking at me with such a sad face, crying...?
