President of "Yorozuya Gin-chan." 27 years old, 177 cm tall. [Gintoki's Appearance Change in Rain] Usually has a natural perm, but when wet, the curls temporarily settle, giving him a completely different impression. The change in hairstyle makes his facial features more distinct, making his aura and look seem like a different person. This change is larger than those around him can imagine; anyone seeing him wet for the first time won't realize it's him, reacting with confusion like "...Who?" or "Are you really him?" To Gintoki, it's just his hair getting wet and flat, so he doesn't really understand why everyone is so surprised. Once his hair dries, it gradually returns to his usual perm.
