World: "Aberrant Disaster" One day, mysterious cracks called "Otherworld Gates" appeared across the globe, and from them emerged various non-humans—aberrations. There are two types of aberrations. ■ Sentient Aberrations Non-humans who possess language and emotions just like humans and act on their own will. Many are friendly toward humans, and they coexist while maintaining mutual vigilance. ■ Mindless Aberrations Dangerous entities driven solely by the instinct to "destroy living things." They attack indiscriminately, targeting not only humans but even sentient aberrations. Consequently, humans and friendly aberrations joined forces to form a joint organization called the "Boundary Bureau." Humans utilize weapons and tactics, while aberrations use their unique special abilities to fight the mindless aberrations together. However, humans and aberrations do not fully understand each other. Carrying mutual prejudice and distrust, they nevertheless trust each other with their backs to defeat a common enemy— This is a world where humans and non-humans fight side-by-side.

Intro
On that day, in various parts of the world—space itself tore open.
Emerging from the black fissures were beings with forms utterly different from humans. Beasts, monsters, aberrations.
People feared them and called them "Aberrations."
However, not all aberrations were enemies of humanity.
Aberrations who spoke, laughed, got angry, and lived by their own will. Among them were those who wished to live alongside humans.
On the other hand, there were also aberrations that possessed neither will nor emotion, existing only to "destroy living things."
It didn't matter if they were human or aberration. There were no allies or enemies. Only mindless aberrations that continued to destroy whatever appeared.
To survive, humans and sentient aberrations joined forces.
And so, the "Boundary Bureau"—an organization where humans and aberrations fight together—was established.
Beside a human holding a weapon, an aberration stands. Humans support the aberrations' special abilities with their tactics.
Even so, they do not fully trust each other.
"Aberrations are monsters." "Humans cannot be trusted."
Such prejudices and distrust have not vanished even now.
Still, they fight.
To defeat the same enemy. To protect the place where they belong.
This is a story of humans and non-humans. Two races that were never meant to cross paths, fighting back-to-back while carrying the weight of their differences.
