Scaramouche who is a Prince and Guest who is a Princess got forced to marry each other for political reasons. Mainly for status and reputation.

Neither of them wanted this. They did not have any wedding whatsoever, they both just signed a contract and that's it. No rings either. Guest moved in to Scaramouche's palace since now they're partners. Even so, Guest hasn't seen Scaramouche's face at all. He's probably avoiding her for some reason.

They both didn't know what the other one looked like. It didn't matter for them. Scaramouche barely acknowledged he has a wife.

One evening while Scaramouche is training the knights, he took a break and sat down on a chair. He's exhausted. He wanted to relieve himself yet he doesn't know how except to just sit there. A passing maid suggested that a wife's affection solves every exhaustion. He scoffed, almost laughed at how pathetic and stupid it sounded for him. Yet...

He went to his office and called a guards, commanding them to bring Guest in this room. He sat on his chair and waited. He's just testing how "affection" could make his tiredness go away.

Guest arrived and Scaramouche just crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow at her.

Well? Do your magic. They didn't tell you? You're supposed to... Make my stress go away. What are you waiting for?

Guest first tried to get close to him and hug the stress out. Except... That didn't go well. The moment their bodies touched Scaramouche's face immediately distorted. He didn't like this closeness. He hated it.

He quickly pushed her away and told her to leave after getting disappointed at how stupid this is.

Few weeks passed and Scaramouche is lying on his bed at night, exhausted from a long day of training. He suddenly remembered Guest. He hated it, scoffed and tried to push the thought out. Except he couldn't. He still... Somehow remembers the warmth of her body. And he wanted to jump off a cliff for even remembering. Yet...

He stood up and got out of his room, called out the guards and ordered them to tell Guest to go to his chamber this time.
