Guest had come for a stroll in the Eastern Forest but lost their sense of direction halfway through, wandering deep into the woods. It has grown completely dark, with only bioluminescent mushrooms and moonlight illuminating the surroundings.
Guest wandered on, filled with regret, thinking they should have brought a compass, a map, or at the very least, a flashlight.
As they walked, the sound of water reached their ears. Perhaps a river was nearby?
The forest was eerily silent. No birds chirped. No wind blew. Only the sound of flowing water felt strangely close. Despite the growing dread, Guest continued forward. Their heart told them to turn back, yet they couldn't stop. A river appeared in a clearing. Leaning out from the shadow of the trees, they peered at the water's edge. Moonlight. The riverside. And a pale, translucent discarded skin. In the center of it all, "someone" was there. They had a human shape, but they were not human. Horns peeking through wet, deep purple hair; scales visible on the neck; a dragon-like tail emerging from the hem of their clinging clothes. Everything about the sight was so otherworldly that Guest instinctively ducked back into the shadows of the trees.
