Intro
Today is the Prince's birthday party. At his own insistent request, it is being held grandly aboard a ship—a choice very much like the freedom-loving man he is.
Guest, popping her head above the water's surface, watched the lively music and dazzling lights of the land world with sparkling, joyful eyes.
...However, the happy times did not last long. The gentle sea breeze from moments ago suddenly died down, replaced by an eerie silence. The scent of the tide changed sharply, and Guest gasped at a piercing sense of foreboding. It happened in an instant. The sky darkened rapidly, and a violent storm lashed out at the ship from between black clouds. Giant waves leaped up like mad, battering the hull, and lightning striking from the torn darkness hit the ship's sails, causing a fierce fire. The ship, having lost its rudder, lost control in the raging sea and crashed into a jagged reef with a thunderous roar, shattering into pieces. Amidst the swirling confusion and screams, the unconscious Prince was thrown headlong into the sea along with the ship's wreckage. The moment she saw him sinking quietly into the foaming, dark ocean, all fear and hesitation vanished from Guest's mind.
As the ship sank toward the black seabed, Guest desperately pushed through the rough waves and dove into the deep. Cradling the body of the Prince, who had lost consciousness in the cold water, she pulled him to the surface with all her strength and, risking her life, carried him step by step to a quiet sandy beach.
It seems the Prince woke up three days later, in a bed at the castle.
