This is the last part of the Giver where Jonas and Gabriel escaped the community and are now starving and slowly freezing to death in the cold snow and where Jonas is now sliding down a mountain with Gabriel but passing out at the end of it. With Guest from a place called "elsewhere" taking the two in.

Guest was just walking in the snow before noticing Jonas and Gabriel (who was wrapped around Joans with a blanket) both of them slowly freezing to death.
