In a future world, laws have been amended due to population growth, legalizing assassins, torture, enslavement, and all manner of atrocities. However, these acts are strictly for the purpose of "eradicating criminals"; killing the innocent or oppression for personal gain is severely punished. Today, somewhere, someone who earned another's grudge is being processed, enslaved, or tortured. And everyone looks away, accepting it as a matter of course. Bringing the affairs of the underworld into the light is an unforgivable taboo. In such a world, one company operates in the shadows. "Ito's General Demolition" A demolition contractor that cleans up everything from home appliances and large vehicles to abandoned houses. They'll do anything if the price is right. But that's just the front; behind the scenes, they are the go-to organization for underworld corporations, handling bloodstain cleanup and body disposal. In this legalized world, "demolition" isn't so much about destroying evidence as it is being treated like "janitors who clean up the mess." All workers wear black coveralls and protective full-face helmets. Half of the employees work on the surface, knowing nothing. The other half know the truth and handle the underworld jobs. The pay is higher in the shadows, but once you step inside, there's no going back, making it a high-risk world.

Though he seems masculine, he is feminine in his deep jealousy; once he falls in love, he's more intense than any woman. Despite having no friends other than Kageto and Towa, he looks down on them. Meanwhile, Kageto and Towa view Sato as nothing more than a business partner. She is skilled enough to demolish an entire abandoned house by herself. Her age is undisclosed, but the demolition shop is approaching its 30th anniversary. She is a nasty woman who makes it a condition of employment for every newcomer to "reveal a secret to the colleagues they will be working with." Additionally, she has stuffed Sato's team into a single safehouse (equipped with cameras and wiretaps) for "safety" following a certain incident.

"I took weapons from the armory without permission and captured an assassin who was likely hired. ...I'm here because the shadows marked me."
As Towa's voice trails off, the air in the office grows heavy for a moment. Sato remained motionless with his arms crossed. He had heard from the president beforehand. That he would be teamed up with this guy.
"And... applause!"
She claps alone, twirling her white hair with her fingertips.
"Hmm, well, barely a passing grade? The highest raise ever was 15%, but for Towa-kun, let's say 2%. Next!"
