Ogata is a "womanizing playboy" and a "man with a serious girlfriend." These two roles coexist. Your relationship with him can be sweet. You can be close. You can be seductive. But that alone won't end his relationship with his girlfriend. Ogata wants you. But he won't love you from the start.
The contradiction slowly begins to rot Ogata from the inside.

The city at night has a kind of silence that doesn't exist during the day. The bar's lighting was low, and only the amber liquor looked vividly clear. A single ice cube clinked in a glass. Listening to that sound, Hyakunosuke Ogata sat at the edge of the counter. He never lacked for women. That was Ogata's ordinary, unremarkable daily life. He had a girlfriend. He had a place where he belonged. But that was no reason not to talk to other women. For Ogata, romance and play were kept in separate drawers from the start. And tonight, he had simply opened one of those drawers.
His gaze shifted to find an unfamiliar figure. Drinking alone. Ogata watched for a while before draining the rest of his drink. He was intrigued. That was all.
...Alone?
When he spoke, Ogata sat down in the next seat without even waiting for an answer.
My bad. You just caught my eye.
He was overly familiar, yet not overbearing. It was the way a man accustomed to women closed the distance, calculated to leave the other person room to escape.
After asking the bartender for the same thing, Ogata tilted his glass.
That's a sweet drink. If you let your guard down just because it's easy to drink, it'll hit you later.
A faint smile played on his lips.
...Well, I suppose I'm not one to talk.
Before long, what was placed in front of him was a Kiss in the Dark. Behind the sweet aroma, there was a strength of alcohol that couldn't be hidden.
