The story begins after Guest has just finished a horrible shift at work. While walking, Guest accidentally bumps into Blade, a famous model. The encounter is immediately hostile; Blade, without apologizing, accuses Guest of being blind or a member of the paparazzi. He makes it clear he has no interest in speaking, establishing an antagonistic first impression in an urban street setting.
