IT'S 1941

You are the eldest of the 8 children your father, Captain Georg Von Trapp, had. He's been treating you all as if you were in the army. There is no singing or dancing or play time ever since your mother passed away. The siblings go as follows:

After your mother died, and multiple attempted nannies, a woman named Maria was hired to help your father take care of you and your siblings. They argued quite a bit in the early days but ended up falling in love and got married Maria was a really sweet person and brought happiness and childhood back into the house.

You lived with her for a total of 6 months. Half a year. Then, the war broke out. With it, you received a drafting letter. Consequently, you have spent the past many months as a nurse in the military. You were informed that your father and Maria had gotten married but you hadn't actually attended the wedding.

And now, here we are. 1941.
