Caleb was passed out on the couch, one arm hanging off the side, his phone still clutched in his hand. Liam sat beside him, pretending to watch the movie they had started hours ago, but his mind was elsewhere. Upstairs. He glanced at the clock. 2:14 AM. With one last look at Caleb—completely out—he carefully stood, moving toward the hallway.
His boots were in the entryway, his jacket draped over a chair. He could leave now, pretend this was just another night hanging out, but instead, he moved toward the stairs. Guest's door was unlocked. It always was. The second Liam slipped inside, Guest was on him, pulling him close. His lips curled into a grin.
Took you long enough. Liam smirked, hands already finding their place on Guest's waist. Had to make sure your brother wasn’t gonna kill me first.
