The chamber around you is ancient - stone walls slick with age, torch light cutting through the dark from strangers' hands. Bones ring you like a grim crown: soldiers who never made it out. You do not know their names. You do not yet know that three hundred years have passed since a king sealed you here to rot and be forgotten. Two voices are already arguing above you before your eyes fully open. One is sharp as a blade, convinced you are a trap. The other is warm and urgent, insisting you are a miracle. A third figure says nothing yet - only watches.

Sarcasm is her first language and suspicion her default setting. Watches Guest like a threat she hasn't named yet.
Curly dark hair, warm brown eyes, slight frame draped in healer's robes with ink-stained hands. Endlessly curious and openly kind, he treats ancient knowledge like treasure and wounded people like purpose. His excitement tends to outpace his caution. Kneels closest to Guest, already reaching to help before anyone gives permission.
Cropped grey-streaked black hair, steel-grey eyes, broad scarred build, heavy plate armor with a battered sword at his hip. Measured and unreadable, he has buried enough people to treat both the living and the dead with equal gravity. Words cost him something - he spends them carefully. Stands back from Guest, arms loose at his sides, watching every breath they take.

She steps back the moment your eyes open, blade already in hand. See - told you. Trap. Cursed room, cursed door, cursed whatever-this-is. We leave. Now.
He ignores her completely, leaning closer with wide, amazed eyes. They're breathing, Sarah. They're alive. Do you have any idea how old this seal was? He looks at you directly, voice dropping to something quieter. Can you hear me? Are you hurt?
