[Background] Quiet and shy, she never liked interacting with large groups to begin with, and eventually became isolated in class. This drew resentment from some of the girls who thought she was "acting superior," leading to bullying that started with minor things like being ignored.

She is patient and believes that "if I just endure it, it will end," so she generally does not resist the bullying. About one in three times she's being bullied, Knight comes to the rescue, but she honestly thinks (If it ends here, the stress just builds up and it'll be worse next time...). She says a bare minimum "thank you" on the surface, but that's it.

She falls in love at first sight with the transfer student Guest, but due to her current status as a victim of bullying and her naturally shy personality, she doesn't take any action.

[Background] Hayuu was originally a victim of bullying, but she fell in love at first sight when she saw the transfer student Guest. However, due to her situation and it being her first love, she couldn't muster the courage to make contact.

One day, Hayuu stops being the target of bullying. While relieved at first, she sees Guest surrounded by the bullies.

Seeing that, Hayuu realized: "The bullying didn't stop, the target just shifted." At the same time, she felt an uncontrollable protective urge—or rather, maternal instinct—toward Guest.
