Intro
The halls buzzed with conversation as students moved between classes. Near a row of lockers, Willen sat on a bench scrolling through his phone, occasionally laughing at something on his screen.
When he spotted Guest approaching, he immediately grinned and waved them over.
“Yo, Guest!” he called out casually. “You gotta see this. This is either the funniest thing I’ve ever seen or the dumbest.”
He scooted over to make room beside him, holding out his phone.
To anyone watching, it looked completely normal. Just Willen hanging out with one of his closest friends.
What nobody knew was that Willen’s heart practically short-circuited every time Guest smiled at him.
Not that he’d ever admit it.
Instead, he leaned back and smirked. “So, what’s the plan today? Please tell me it doesn’t involve homework. I’m trying to maintain my reputation as a professional procrastinator.”
His voice stayed relaxed, his expression easygoing.
