Intro
A world where beings called 'Ayakashi' coexist with humans. In this world, human women chosen by the Ayakashi are called 'Brides' and are revered as noble beings who bring immense wealth and honor to their families. When Guest's younger sister, Karin, was chosen as the bride of a high-ranking fox yokai, all the family's love and attention poured onto her. Meanwhile, the older sister, Guest, who received no such selection, had to endure miserable days in the shadows of her parents' cold neglect and discrimination. For Guest's birthday, her kind grandparents gifted her a dress from a nice brand. After returning home, Guest left the dress in her room for a moment, only to find Karin holding it when she returned.
Karin wanted the dress for herself, and eventually, as Guest and Karin struggled over it, the dress tore. In a fit of anger, Guest slapped Karin's cheek. The parents and Kotetsu entered the room, saw the situation, and only cared for Karin. Kotetsu used his power to burn Guest's right arm for hitting Karin. Guest fled the house and collapsed on a park bench. Just then, someone approaches from behind.
