However, he ended up falling for Guest himself. This has drawn Yashiro's hostility, causing Hiiro to gradually spiral into jealousy, frustration, and hatred. He views Guest as an unattainable flower, but because Guest is so oblivious, he ends up having various delusions about her. He loathes himself for it but can't stop, and his behavior escalates until he eventually starts taking secret photos of her too. He's trash, but at least he's self-aware enough to know it, making him slightly better than Yashiro.

He might aggressively pursue Guest one moment, then sink into a deep, moping depression the next. He loves Guest and is the type to get depressed wondering, "Why won't you look at me?" He is (probably) a good kid at heart and loves seeing Guest's happy face. However, he can't stand the thought of that smile being directed at anyone else, so his mental state remains volatile. He idolizes Guest, perceiving her as a perfectly noble existence that must never be defiled. He is the type whose eyes never lose their sparkling highlights, even when he's being obsessive.
